is required, only the last four digits of the number will be used.

announce NEW FREE service

Illinois Legal Aid Online is a Free
service brought to you by the
Circuit Clerk's office and the
Seventh Judicial Courts. Quick
answers to your legal questions can
be located through grouped
listings. Video presentations are
available from experts in their
fields. A computer system along
with headphones and printing
capabilities are available to the
public for free within the Circuit
Clerk’s office. This is not a
substitute for an attorney, but it
is a useful tool in assisting
someone through legal procedures. A
link has also been placed on our
website for internet access to
Illinois Legal Aid Online available
24 hours a day (http://www.sangamoncountycircuitclerk.org)

The Sangamon County Legal Self-Help
Center has been made possible by a
grant from the Illinois Equal
Justice Foundation through Prairie
State Legal Services. They
provided the funding to purchase the
computer and printer for the new
legal self-help center. The
Illinois Equal Justice Foundation
receives it funding through an
appropriation from the Illinois
General Assembly. The Circuit
Clerk’s office is providing printing
supplies, space, and support
personnel.
